Low-Interest Loan Pool
To encourage commercial and commercial / mixed use (housing) rehabilitation or in-fill construction projects in Franklin’s downtown business district the Downtown Franklin Development Fund (DFDF) has been created and is backed by several banking institutions The money is available to those structures located in the Downtown Historic Commercial District. (View Map for boundaries of the Downtown Commercial District.) Application for said funds must be made through the Renaissance Office. Renaissance reviews and approves all proposals prior to submission to the participating lenders making up the DFDF.
