Since 1992, Franklin -
Simpson Renaissance has been dedicated to the
revitalization
of downtown Franklin Kentucky. Our
vision is to re-establish Franklin's square
as an active, viable economic center for professional,
retail, social
and cultural activities by
encouraging
economic development within the context of historic
preservation. We,
along with Preserve
America, Kentucky
Main
Street and The
National Trust For Historic Preservation,
advocate a return to community self-reliance, local
empowerment, and
the redevelopment of Franklin's traditional
commercial district based on its
unique assets: distinctive architecture, a
pedestrian-friendly
environment, local ownership with personal service, and
a strong sense
of
